Caucus on February 3rd to demand ICE OUT.
Everywhere we go, we see protesters on street corners and highway overpasses. We hear the whistles. We see local elected officials stepping up to protect people from federal agents and working day in and day out to keep our neighbors safe.
This chaos isn't an accident. Democracy is at risk whenever people feel overwhelmed, afraid, or powerless at the hands of their government. That is exactly what Trump and MAGA Republicans are counting on in Minnesota, because we have consistently rejected their movement as the longest-standing Blue state in the nation.
Election Day feels far away - but our participation in our elections is both urgent and important, with Precinct Caucuses coming up on February 3rd.
Here’s what you can do to demand the end of ICE’s occupation in Minnesota.
Caucus!
Caucus Night is uniquely Minnesotan. It’s a night each year where we gather hyper-locally to set the direction of our party and to make decisions about who best represents our party’s values in hopes of electing them in the General Election.
As the DFL says, “we don’t do this behind closed doors but in classrooms, school gyms, and church basements across the state.” Because transparency and community MATTER in our politics.
This year you can participate in one of three ways:
In person at 7:00 PM on February 3, 2026 (find your caucus location HERE)
Have a neighbor deliver a Non-Attendee Form for you to your precinct caucus (available in other languages HERE)
If you prefer not to attend in person events right now because of ICE presence in your community, you can submit your Non-Attendee form electronically by emailing it to your Organizing Unit Chair OR emailing your forms to our campaign at info@adamforauditor.com and we will send on to the appropriate party representatives (contact info for your chair is available HERE when you enter your address to find your caucus location)
PLEASE NOTE: all emailed non-attendee forms must be submitted by January 31, 2026.
2. Bring a resolution to your Precinct Caucus to demand that we get ICE out of Minnesota immediately.
If you’re interested in making sure that our party and elected officials are committed to getting ICE out of Minnesota, you can bring a resolution to Precinct Caucuses that can be added to our Party’s platform at this year’s state convention.
We have drafted a resolution that you are welcome to use below. You can submit your resolution in person using THIS FORM or by attaching the form to your non-attendee form and submit through a neighbor or virtually by emailing your Organizing Unit Chair (forms available in other languages HERE).

BE IT RESOLVED THAT…
DFL elected officials and party officials do all that they can to remove ICE from Minnesota NOW for everyone’s safety, including:
Hold ICE Agent Jonathan Ross legally accountable for the murder of Renee Nicole Good and hold all officers involved in the murder of Alex Pretti legally accountable
Deny any additional ICE funding in the upcoming congressional budget
Investigate ICE for both human rights and constitutional violations
Call on businesses providing contracts for goods and services to ICE to end said contracts immediately
Do all that we can to prevent local law enforcement and officials from aiding ICE in continued raids and keep them out of places where immigrants are most vulnerable like schools and hospitals
Hold ICE accountable for harm done by allowing civil lawsuits for constitutional violations by any actor
Abolish ICE
